It is the time to sum up how our oldest team did during a Soccer Sunday.
In our oldest age group U15 (year 2002 and younger) 7 teams applied for the games: Diamonds ASW, Warszawska Akademia Piłkarska, UKS Mazovia, AS Progres, Piastovia Piastów, SP Polonez Warriors & AZS UW. Matches were played in a league system – everyone with everyone.
Diamonds started the tournament with a goalless draw against AS Progres. Only 1 point gained in a first match made our players aware that they cannot loose anything if they think about the gold medals. Motivated girls won all the left matches with a score 1:0. Focus, motivation and realization of football coaching assumptions gaves us our dreamt 1st place! 1 draw and 5 victories will gave our girls gold medals with 16 points, silver went to Mazovia (13 points) and AS Progres (11 points).
