On Sunday our Club took part in XVII edition of Santa Claus Tournament in category 2007 and younger organized by MUKS Praga Warszawa. Games took place in the sportshall at Szanajcy Street (Praga Północ).
Diamonds Academy Team was compounded of 11 players – 4 players born in 2007 and 7 players born in 2008.
In group phase our opponents were:: SP Maków Mazowiecki, Mazovia Grodzisk Mazowiecki and Polonez Warszawa.
3 confident victories guaranteed us semifinal. We have advance from the first place in the group.
Diamonds Team has scored 9 goals and lost 1.
In semifinal we challenged Dargfil Tomaszów Mazowiecki.
Really good game of our team gave us a victory and a final against Varsovia Girls.
Match for gold was very equal. Most of the game there was 0;0 score on the score board.
Victoria Girls opened a scoring after the corner.
Our girls did not give up and showed their warriors character and it gave us an effect!
Match has ended with a draw 1:1. The penalties were decisive..
Finally, it were our girls who were better! Final score 2:0!
